About the Development

An exciting regeneration and recreation of the historic landmark, The Price's Candle Factory on York Road, Battersea SW11.

These fine Victorian warehouses were built in 1850, before that it was the former London palace of the Archbishops of York.

Candlemakers is a modern restatement of Victorian industrial architecture. The interiors have been styled by the architect Paul Brookes, the London loft specialist, together with the renowned interior designers Carter Tyberghein.

Candlemakers is well placed for motorists, within easy reach of the South Circular road. It is situated on York Road (A3025) between Wandsworth Bridge and Battersea Bridge. The A3 Kingston Bypass is a fast route to the M25, and either Battersea or Wandsworth Bridge gives rapid access to west and north London, the M4 and Heathrow airport.

The world's busiest station, Clapham Junction, is just half a mile away. In the rush hour trains leave for the West End and City every few minutes, and links to the South of England are unrivalled.

Trains from Clapham Junction also provide easy airport links, and if your journey is really urgent, Battersea's Heliport is just round the corner!
