Virginia Quay is one of the largest and most historic riverside sites in London Docklands – the place from where the original English settlers sailed for America in 1606.
It was formerly occupied by the Brunswick Power Station and has been redeveloped by Barratt East London to provide over 700 new homes. The 6.5 hectare site provides a mixture of three storey town houses, with apartment blocks from four to eleven storeys high.
It lies on the north bank of the Thames opposite the Millennium Dome and is crossed by the Greenwich Meridian. It is marked by a tree lined walk through the site, which has its own DLR station
In terms of eating out and other social activities, there are a multitude of bars, restaurants and shops in West India Quay all within walking distance. There are also some lovely areas to explore very close by in Isle of Dogs.
The strong DLR links is really convenient for Excel centre/ City Airport/ Canary Wharf/ The City
